Redeemer Community Church Last night, our church family gathered for our first Night of Worship on our new site on Montclair Road. With candles lit and voices raised in praise, we worshiped together on the very ground where we hope our future sanctuary will one day stand. There was something special about being together in this place, reflecting on how the Lord has faithfully provided and considering all that He may have in store for this property. We are reminded that before this space becomes a place of regular gathering, it is already a place where we can come together to worship Him. We are grateful for everyone who joined us for this special evening. May the Lord be glorified in this place, now and in the years to come.

Redeemer Community Church Margaret began her foster care journey thinking she would offer respite care for children in need. She never imagined it would lead to adoption, but through it all, she has experienced God’s faithfulness and the gift of a church family willing to walk alongside her. Swipe through to hear more of Margaret’s story. Interested in learning more about foster care, adoption, or how to support families in your church? Join us for an upcoming FAM gathering this Sunday. Redeemer Community Church We couldn’t have ordered up a better Sunday for our 18th annual Best Würst Fest! The weather showed off, the kids’ area was a hit, and with all the sausage on the grill, no one went hungry. The tug-of-war competition also lived up to the hype, with CreaTEAM coming back from a devastating loss last year to pull off the win and earn a full year of bragging rights. We look forward to seeing who is willing to put their reputation on the line next fall.

Redeemer Community Church A couple of weeks ago, Redeemer Youth headed to Mentone for their yearly fall retreat. It was great to see how stepping away from their usual routines gave middle and high school students the opportunity to grow in their faith and build deeper relationships with one another. Reflecting on the weekend, our Youth Pastor, Connor Coskery, shared: “It always strikes me how taking the time to get away together makes a group feel like a family. The Lord was gracious and moved among us as we read His Word, worshiped through singing, feasted on s’mores by the campfire, and enjoyed unhurried time together. It’s an honor to watch the Lord weave various stories together and cultivate deep community among middle and high schoolers!” We’re grateful for the ways the Lord is at work in our students, growing them in faith and knitting them together in community.

Redeemer Community Church Last night, members of a few Home Groups rolled up their sleeves at Christian Service Mission to get ready for Best Würst Fest! Together, they prepped 681 pounds of sausage for Sunday’s festivities, and the whole batch is now tucked away in CSM’s house-sized fridge, ready for the weekend. A big thank-you to everyone who helped make it happen! Learn more about the event at rccbirmingham.org/bwf

Redeemer Community Church A couple of weeks ago, Club 56 students and leaders headed to camp for a weekend of fellowship, worship, and fun. From the high ropes course and canoe rides to campfires, early-morning football, and worship at sunset, there was no shortage of ways to enjoy time together. We’re grateful for the Redeemer Kids team and the Reeds for faithfully investing in our children and helping them grow in their faith.

Redeemer Community Church Redeemer is searching for a Young Adults & Membership Director to help shepherd one of the most vibrant parts of our church family. If you didn't know, 43% of Redeemer is in their 20s, and we've seen remarkable signs of God's faithfulness as young adults come to us looking for real community and discipleship. This person will lead and disciple our young adults, guide newcomers from guest to Covenant Member, and help lead our Men's Ministry. Please pray with us for the right person and help us spread the word. Visit rccbirmingham.org/jobs for the full details.
