This summer, Redeemer women studied Revelation for summer Bible study – a letter not meant to evoke fear, but of comfort and hope for the people of God. Each week, our eyes were lifted to the heavenly throne room where God is seated on his throne and where the slain Lamb of God is declared worthy above all. In Revelation 5, we see every creature in heaven and on earth join with one voice, declaring “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever! Last week, the study culminated with a Night of Worship for women, where we lifted our voices, joining in with heaven’s song, declaring our God holy and worthy above all. It was a beautiful foretaste of the day when all God’s people will dwell eternally with Him, and fall down before Him in worship.
