Redeemer Community Church

Last Wednesday’s Talkback was a unique opportunity to reflect on the ache of our present loneliness and our desire for meaningful relationships in today’s disconnected world. We were so grateful to have Ben Sciacca and Janet King lead a conversation that blended rooted theology, lived experience, and social science. Together, they unpacked why so many of us feel isolated—even in crowded rooms—and offered a vision of community marked by courage, vulnerability, and delight. Thankfully, the night wasn’t just about identifying the problem; it was about creating pathways forward. Both speakers reminded us that you are not weird for wanting deeper friendships. And while small, intentional changes in how we interact can help relationships grow, sometimes what we need most is a well-designed space to begin. That’s exactly what our Summer Circles are designed to do. If you’re looking to move beyond surface-level connections and build friendships rooted in shared values, vulnerability, and presence, we hope you’ll join us. The groups are small, the structure is simple, and the goal is meaningful community and relationships. Registration is now open, but space is limited. We can’t wait to see what these gatherings hold.
